Sorry I have not been posting or visiting your blogs the last couple of days. I went to my brother’s house for Easter and did not have time to post new photos. Hope you all had a good Easter! I am taking a break from Nubble Lighthouse photos for a bit but will post some more soon. For now here is another shot of Salem Willows in Salem MA. This was taken in March and this street with arcades and food stands that is usually mobbed in the summer was like a ghost town.
The entrance to Salem Willows park. Looks kind of scary after the processing and with the Lensbaby effect! I can assure you in person its not!
I got a chance to go to Salem MA over the weekend and I used my new Lensbaby lens alot. Having said that I am not sure about this shot. I like it but I sort of think it may have been better with a higher aperture on the lensbaby so there would be a bit less blur. What do you think did I go overboard with the lensbaby on this shot?
Here is another of the large trees at Salem Willows park in Salem, MA. I thought the roots to this huge tree looked almost like feet. Who knows maybe its Treebeard from the “Lord of the Rings”!
Since so many people where trying to figure out what “The Blue Thing” was in my last post I thought it would be fun to post a different photo than I planned to today of “The Blue Thing” and name todays post after the comments that many people made yesterday wondering what it was. So here is the Salem Water Tower in all its glory. Thanks for helping me come up with a title!
I went to Salem Willows Park in Salem, MA yesterday and in the park they have a good number of very large, very old trees. Here is a shot looking up one of them.
