I wonder if these birds Tweet??
I thought this bare tree/vine with the twisting limbs reaching out in every direction looked sort of like a giant spider hanging on this brick wall!
Also as this is my first post of 2011 I want to wish you all a great New Year!!

Thought this fountain filled with Autumn leaves was very interesting so I had to take a bunch of photos of it. Reminded me of something out of a fairy tale.

I tried several processing ideas but finally I decided I liked this sepia toned processing the best. I think the aged looked works for this. Maybe I will post the color version later to compare it to this one.

This rock was overflowing with colors and life. It was sort of like its own little planet with its own ecosystem!
About a week or so ago I was dog sitting for my brothers pug puppy (you can see a photo of him much younger here) and decided to take him to the beach! It was his first time there and he had a blast. He would run towards the waves when they went out and run away when they came in. Also as you can see he loved digging around in the sand with his nose!
I just realized that today is the 2 year birthday of my photoblog!! Wow I cant believe its been two years already. Time flies. I want to thank all the regular commenters and visitors as without your encouragement I doubt I would still be posting photos! I really do appreciate your visits and comments alot! Here is hoping this coming year on Fotoblography.com is a good one and the camera keeps clicking.

I processed this shot pretty heavily and eventually decided I liked this one the most. It has a sort of desolate feel to it that I liked. What do you think did I over-process it?
This cool store sells all sorts of interesting odds and ends. It is located in Newburyport, MA right next to this walkway photo that I posted a couple of weeks ago.
I just want to thank everyone for the great replies and response to my last post about the People of Haiti. And I want to thank you for any donations you gave to Compassion or another charity towards Haiti. If you are still thinking about donating to help the people of Haiti please click the banner below.
Since this is my first post of 2010 I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year! Hope its a great year for us all!
While hiking I came across this caterpillar that looked like a walking cigar! After some research online I learned that it is a caterpillar for the Pandora Sphinx moth. To see what they look like all grown up check out wikipedia.
The sky was a little blown out in this shot I took, but the scene was so beautiful I had to post this photo anyways!
Taken last weekend. When you see the birds starting to fly south for the winter it is a sad sign that Summer is almost over.
I took this photo this past weekend at Hampton Beach, NH. There were not many people around because of Hurricane Bill. Luckily the Hurricane missed New England for the most part.
The Tall Ships have to wait at red lights like everyone else.
Better look both ways before crossing the street or you may get sailed over!
You could not pay me to get on this boat! I don’t think this boat will be above water for much longer.
This turtle suit made me smile when I saw it. I took this outside of the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA and as you can see this Turtle attracted quite the crowd.
Here is the second photo in my Boston Tall Ships 2009 series. This ship named “Mircea” was one my favorites of the tall ships that I saw on Saturday.
Here is some info about the ship:
Name: Mircea
Homeport: Constanta, Romania
Rig: Barque
Sparred Length: 270’
Draft: 18’
Beam: 39’ 6”
Hull: Steel
I took this photo on July 4th at Salisbury Beach in Salisbury MA. I could not decide if I should crop out the beach next to the wall or not but I finally decided to leave it.
If you have been visiting my photoblog for awhile you may remember that last year I posted alot of photos from the annual Hampton Beach Sand Sculpture contest. This past week the 2009 contest was held. I was sadly not able to stay to see any of the finished designs but I was lucky to of least see one of the artists in the very early stages of creating his sculpture. If you want to see the photos from the 2008 Sand Sculpture competition check out the ones I posted here last year.
I kept processing this shot and could not decide on the best way to present it. Finally I settled on this b&w version. I think it gives these waterslides a different feeling than seeing them in color.
Nothing better then Shaved Ice on a hot day! This was taken at the Hampton Beach Boardwalk in Hampton, NH.
On the way back from Boston there was a great sunset. This was taken from the car window on the highway while we were driving (and no I was not the driver!)
I took this photo right after taking the photo I posted last time of the skyline of Boston. As I was getting ready to leave the rooftop location where I took that photo I saw the full moon barely visible in the afternoon brightness just coming into view above these factories. I decided to convert the photo to black and white becuase it was really hard to see the barely visible moon against the bright blue sky in the color version.
Here is a photo I took last weekend of the John Hancock Tower in Boston, MA. According to Wikipedia The John Hancock Tower is the tallest building in Boston and in fact the tallest building in all of New England.
I went to South Boston last weekend and was able to get a few photos. Here is a shot of the St. Brigid Parish in South Boston MA.
I visited my brother a couple of weeks ago and here is a photo I took of his Russian Box Turtle named Ivan the Terrible. As you can see Ivan the Terrible is not so scary when he is taking a bath!
