The grass is always greener…
I took this photo back in September of a field filled with hay bales. They had just finished baling earlier that very day and were still out in another field making bales. I liked how the hay bales could be seen far into the distance.
I liked this shot so much I decided to include it in my New England 2011 Scenic Wall Calendar! If you want to purchase a 2011 calendar for yourself, or to buy as a gift for a friend, or just want to let me know how it looks and are interesting in checking it out, below is the link to where you can purchase it and see more :
Looks like these Squirrels may have a system where one looks for food while the other acts as a lookout.
I know it looks like I was laying on the ground when I took this but in fact the Squirrels were on the top of a hill and I was standing pretty much eye level with them at the bottom of the hill. I just zoomed way in! It was alot easier then getting all dirty on the ground!
We got our first snow of the season yesterday and I was able to capture a few shots. It was really only a dusting of snow but it is a reminder that Winter is quickly approaching.
I was at the bottom of the hill in my front yard when I took this so I was basically at eye level with the squirrel. I zoomed all the way in and I think this image gives a glimpse of what the world looks like from the viewpoint of a squirrel.
