Blackberries

Published by Andy under B&W photography, Macro

Blackberries, B&W, berries, woods, Pentax

Here is a shot of some wild blackberries I found in the woods of NH. I decided to convert the photo to black and white since they are called blackberries and I liked the effect so decided to post it like this.

Free Tire Anyone?

Published by Andy under B&W photography, Landscape, Ocean

Tire, Beach, Ocean, Sand

I was walking on the beach and came upon an odd site. A tire that was in good shape just sticking out of the sand as if it where one of the rocks nearby it. I am not sure how it got there maybe it washed ashore? Strange how it was perfectly standing there though.

View from Summit of Wildcat Mountain

Published by Andy under B&W photography, Landscape, Mountains

Wildcat Mountain, Summit, Mountains, NH

I took the ski lift up to the summit of Wildcat mountain a couple of years ago and here is the beautiful view from the top. It was kind of a hazy day but I found converting the image to black and white actually helped to show more of the surrounding mountains then the color version did. Be sure to click on this image to make it larger because it is kind of small on the page so it would fit.

Fowle’s Soda Shop

Published by Andy under B&W photography, Urban Life

Fowles Soda Shop, City Street, Newburyport

Here is a shot from downtown Newburyport, MA. This old time soda shop / newspaper stand seems to be a relic from the past that has been frozen in time and preserved for today.
