The grass is always greener…
I really loved all the different textures and colors behind this spring branch budding with new life so I of course took a photograph of it. Was lucky to have that Bee show up too!
These colorful wrinkly berries really stood out against this old stone wall.

I thought these brown mushrooms looked sort of like a pile of donuts! I doubt they taste as good though!

Something a bit different from all the Autumn photos today. I saw this large Garden Snake slithering through the pine needles on the side of a trail while hiking a few weeks back. He was actually pretty large which you cant really tell from this photo. He let me get real close so I was able to get this photo.
Also I just created a page for my photo blog on Facebook so if you want to “Like” me that would be cool!! Here is the link: Fotoblography.com Facebook Page.

While hiking I came across this caterpillar that looked like a walking cigar! After some research online I learned that it is a caterpillar for the Pandora Sphinx moth. To see what they look like all grown up check out wikipedia.
I think this is called a Foxglove flower. I took this photo right after a rainstorm and the sparkling water on the flowers were like diamonds.
These Lilies of the Valley flowers look just like little bells to me.
Sorry I have not been posting the last few days I was away for the weekend. But I am back now.
This wind chime is supposed to play the first 5 notes of the hymn “Amazing Grace” as it blows in the breeze. I honestly don’t think I have ever really heard it play the notes in the correct order but still it sounds great anyways!
Another Springtime flower shot today. Here is a tulip bud that is soon to blossom. In fact it did blossom the day after I took this photo!
Finally a Springtime photo from me! This is a branch from a Forsythia bush in my yard. Behind it is a large rock if you are wondering what that is.
I am not sure what kind of plant this is but I took this photo in Maine a couple of weeks ago before any leaves had started to sprout.
With Easter fast approaching the Jelly Bean harvest is in full swing! Here is a red Jelly Bean plant that has been harvested already by the Jelly Bean farmers. Near by there were green, orange, and even black jelly bean plants all waiting to be harvested for Easter Candy!
Haha just joking obviously
I dont know what this plant is but the berries do look like jelly beans to me!
Another shot of our old and faithful snow blower (An 8HP International Harvester Cadet 268) from my last post this time of the spark plug. I will probably post a few more photos of this snow blower from different angles as I found it an interesting subject!
My Persian cat was infatuated with this pineapple and kept rubbing up against it and smelling it. Here he is challenging it to a staring contest
I have been a bit under the weather the past few days that is why I have not been posting. Hopefully I will be back to 100% soon and will be able to post more often!
This is a photo I took a few months ago in the Fall of some beatiful dying flowers. The splotchy pink spots looked a bit like lipstick on a white shirt hence the title.
Well I can pretty much guarantee this will be one of the strangest photoblog posts you will see today! As I was sitting at my desk I saw this string hanging from the window shade and it just kept looking like a reindeer jumping to me. I don’t know if I am suffering from cabin fever or what but I just had to take the photo and see if others thought so too! Hopefully I am not going crazy
Sorry there has not been as many posts by me lately with all this winter weather and cold its harder to get out and take good photos. Hopefully I will start taking more photos soon.

This is a nativity set that my mother put together and painted etc. around 30 years ago or so. Every Christmas forever now we have enjoyed setting it up. I just want to take this opportunity to again wish everyone a very merry Christmas and want to thank you all for your continued visits and comments on my blog as its very appreciated! Merry Christmas everyone!
During the Ice Storm I was able to take this photo of a church covered with ice. There was so much ice it almost looked like a Christmas decoration! The ice even gave off a strange blueish glow as if a light was on inside the church.
Ok ok it is a Christmas decoration but I thought it would be a funny transition from the ice storm photos
Today is December 21st the official start of Winter. It is very appropriate as outside right now here in Massachusetts is yet another big snowstorm. Winter has been really hitting us fast and hard already here as we have had a huge ice storm and two very big snowstorms all within a weeks time! This is another photo I took last week during the ice storm. I liked the contrast of the leaves with the ice on the trees in the background.
Here is another photo I shot this past weekend after the very small first snow storm of the year. As you can see we did not get much snow at all but I liked the way the melting snow on these leaves looked.
