Happy fourth Andy! Interesting shot with the flag torn and backwards.
Ya I took this photo on a really windy day in March at a Park and sadly it was a flag that was not well taken care of and was up all winter. I think from all the wind it got torn a bit but I liked the way it looked through the trees.

At first I was like: wow, what is going on with the blur, but then I saw the lensbaby tag and it all made sense. Very cool shot!
I like old glory behind the screen of limbs. A creative view of the flag with its action in the wind. Very nice shot.
The blur really focuses the eye on the subject. Nicely done.

Some will say it is a horrible thing to fly a tattered flag but I find a tattered flag somehow very compelling. To me it symbolizes the endurance of a nation that has faced some pretty trying times especially in the current state of the world. I hope and pray that the nation will continue to endure. Awesome image.
