This past Saturday I went up to Maine. It ended up being a foggy day which sometimes puts a damper on taking photos. I personally like the atmosphere that fog creates though so I took advantage of the day. So I will be starting a series with some photos from this foggy day starting today.

An immensely atmospheric and beautifully elegant photograph, Andy. I too love mist and fog, and actively go for walks when it lays thick and heavy. Like walkking through the veils of time itself.
This is a lovely shot and I look forward to more
i love fog and foggy images, it gives some special mystery to photos
love the contrast between the crisp reflections in the pond and the soft foggy background
Such a lovely and tranquil scene. You do fog well…unlike me:-)
i tend to like foggy atmospheres and try to shoot as much as i could.. nice work capturing this scene!
Buenos reflejos, me gusta mucho este hermoso paisaje.
Saludos.
how beautiful!! i love taking fog pictures too!!
Love it. Very nice colors, and a clean composition.
Fog..rain..mist - it’s my favorite weather to go out and take photos. Love the mood you’ve captured here!
Like an Andrew Wyeth painting…lovely.
That is gorgeous with the softness of the fog.
What a magnificent landscape, I like very much the reflections on the water and the low fog that is approaching. Excellent work !
Beautiful image and I love the processing - the water and reflections are perfect also!
Love the fog and reflections, great capture!
Quite challenging to shoot in the fog… but a special mood… a bit depressing.
Anyway you captured the mood very well here!
there is a melancholic mood in this nice Photo.
It’s funny, Andy, but when I see fog outside, I think, “GREAT! Now where’s my camera!!”
This is my kind of image!
Still water and reflections, as well as the dull light give us here a nostalgic mood, beautifully captured here.
Andy- Nice Photo, love the eerie feeling of the fog, and nice reflection of the trees in the “glassy” pond.
I always have a hard time with fog. This is well done.
A fine shot in the foggy weather. I guess I would prefer dull, overcast days to bright sunlit ones with harsh shadows
unless I’m taking pictures early in the morning or at sundown. This is a nice one with lots of emotional appeal.
this is beautiful! i cannot take good landscape photos… much more practice needed!! love your blog and photos… you got what it takes!!
