it looks like there is something clinging for dear life on that buoy! lol can’t imagine what it would be tho lol nice shot, beautiful scene (p.s. i leaf on the M is because we are in Canada)
Cool shot, Andy. You know, I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but I just now realized that I could click on your photo for a bigger image (how long have I been coming here???), which I did to get a better look at the buoy. I was trying to figure out what was hanging on to it and it looks like rope. Love the color of the water, the jetty breaking it up, the buoy - so much interest in this one image.
Thanks for letting me know about how you did not know the photos got bigger. I often wonder if I dont do a good job letting people know about that. I wonder if others know they can click on them? Anyways thanks for the comment.
The mooring ball makes a good subject. I like the people walking on the breakwater. They provide a sense of scale that helps me understand the sizes in the picture. Nice one.
Welcome to my photoblog. I will try to post a new photo that I have taken every day so check back often! I also will occasionally post some reviews of photo gear that I purchase.
A really neat composition, Andy. It took me a while to realise that people were walking along, as I concentrated on the water, bouy and stone jetty.
Love the horizontal bands of color and texture..and then the surprise of the mooring ball. Looks almost like REAL spring…at last!!!
interesting composition, love the strong blue

Oh cool thanks for clarifying what the leaf on the Mcdonalds sign was Elaine!
almost like an optical illusion, those people seem to be walking towards a “big” debris from the sky..
Magnificent scenery, very nice shot. Exceptional color !
Great composition…the strong blue is great with lines and detail. Nice.

The blue of the water is beautiful

Nice composition. It looks like the boat is out for a sail.
Lovely layers here. At first, from some reason i thought that was an orange in the water
Guess I’m a bit hungry…
Cool shot. Looks like a great place to go for a walk
The vertical ine going through the image is really well chosen. But what’s that bobbing in the water?
Its a really old and rusty mooring ball.
The orange really makes the photo. Nice job getting it!
great find. it’s just dangling in there for a bit, great colors!
Nice compo! Good shot!
