These solitary footprints belong to some animal that visited my yard last night. Not sure what animal they belong to but they lead into the cold dark woods.
Lonely Footprints in the Snow

I love it, on the rare occasions when we have a light dusting of snow over this side of the pond, when you wake up in the morning and look out over the garden to see the footprints of various critters who have carved a pathway in the virgin snow.
This is a really lovely shot, Andy, with the shadow play intersecting the crisp, white blanket of snow. Very nicely observed
very peculiar footprints…. nice picture, it feels lonely. Realy a great job.
It does make you wonder. I would like to think Big Foot, the footprints are not big enough. But you never know do you……………
Love the shadows and light…and how they lead and disappear into nowhere. Could they be deerprints???
We did have some deer in our yard a few weeks ago! Their foot prints where alot further apart. I think it must be a smaller animal.
The crossing traces of feet look on the cold snow with the hot strands of the sunny light great…Great compo!
Hmm.. the marks are unmistakable. Its a werewolf! wonder what he wants with you..
