Feels almost sad, the roots having lost their way after peeking up out of the ground to see if ‘the grass is always greener on the other side’.
Now they frantically climb the wall, looking for a way back to the darkness and safety of their former life!
I like the patterning of that wall by the way. That’s such a narrow flower bed, by those steps.
