Here is another of the large trees at Salem Willows park in Salem, MA. I thought the roots to this huge tree looked almost like feet. Who knows maybe its Treebeard from the “Lord of the Rings”!
awww looks like a loving all embracing tree, very pretty and you’re right about the roots, she needs to solid on her feet, for all the embraces beautiful shot

I think you may be right, they look like chubby feet and toes ha ha
It has a wonderful shape, and so low. Good for climbing, I’d be straight up there.
Talk about a natural jungle gym. Very cool.
They do look like feet and this indeed Lord of the Rings-esque
Very cool image!
I’m in 100% agreement. Very cool.
A very unique tree that is rarely seen, well done!
So nice…I love trees.
A beautiful image, superb composition, I like very much the colors and light.
That is a pretty impressive old tree. I just love the strong look of those branches and the rugged trunk. It certainly does appear to have large feet.
Our town has one landmark tree that they have taken such care to preserve. It is a landmark in the town.
autumn is coming, nice shot
nice imagination! now that you mentioned it, they do actually look like feet..
This is a tree I’d love to set up an easel & paint. Fantastic photo of such beauty.
I like the low spread of those huge branches. Nice one.
it’s very big this tree !!!!
I would go give it a big hug but I don’t want to step on its toes. Good catch!
this is the right place to let your hair down, have a chat with friends.
looks 3 feet !
amazing tree!
That thing is draining the moisture from the ground all around it. The grass doesn’t stand a chance. That would be another fun tree to climb.
