I took the ski lift up to the summit of Wildcat mountain a couple of years ago and here is the beautiful view from the top. It was kind of a hazy day but I found converting the image to black and white actually helped to show more of the surrounding mountains then the color version did. Be sure to click on this image to make it larger because it is kind of small on the page so it would fit.

I love mountains and have been privileged to lived near them and in them. This is a majestic mountain range. I love the forefront growth showing and I love the name “Wildcat mountain”. Wonderful post. You have no idea how much joy this photo brought me:-)
nice picture
I like the black and white version very much. The receding detail and tone in the far distant mountains is very attractive. I’m glad you provided a larger image which helped convey the majesty of the mountains.
Thanks for the very kind comments everyone!
Beautiful mountain range. This photo looks great in b&w.
