I took this picture in the fall while at Kennebunkport Maine. I tried to frame the sailboat between the two twigs on the shoreline and overall I think it worked. In the distance you can make out some of the fall foliage along the shoreline.

I updated to wordpress 2.5 today and so far everything seems to be working fine. I have been trying to figure out how to use the new Gallery feature but have not quite figured it out yet. It was a pretty painless upgrade overall and all of my plugins seem to be working. I guess it helps that I just launched my blog with version 2.3 last week, so there was not to much I could mess up! Anyways if anything looks wrong let me know by replying to this post.

This is a picture I took a couple of years ago on the top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire. It is the famous cog railroad that takes you to the top of the mountain. The color really pops on this one and I like how the action of the smoke pouring out of the chimney and the water pouring onto the track is frozen in time. I was really lucky to get this shot as I was on a different train going down the mountain and I had to take this picture out of the window. Came out pretty good considering imo!

Hi and welcome to my new photoblog, FotoBlography.com. This is a first for me so hopefully you will stick around while I get the hang of it. Basically this blog will be about my favorite hobby photography. I also will occasionally post some reviews of photo gear and other cool gadgets that I get my hands on and from time-to-time I will blog about other topics as well.
